I found this a fascinating take on what is happening now. Thank you for sharing this point of view.

Not much more can be said than this: << the paranoiac idea that signifiers are hiding in the real meets here the perverse logic of forcing reality to itself produce what it is lacking.>>

Thank you for being here. Thank you for condensing your vast knowledge and acumen for us. You connected so many disparate pieces of this puzzle that I have been feeling intuitively for a long time. The paradox of emasculation, castration, and policing of “real women” is the lever that keeps the “victim-perpetrators” trapped in that place. Never able to leave, like a psychological quicksand.

I have been saying that these unfortunate souls are beyond reproach for some time now. Do you think there is any form of extrication for these larger social structures beyond recovery after collapse? These leviathans seem to take on a life of their own and their supporters and participants only seem hell bent on one thing. The destruction of life.

Today, the fight against the “new antisemitism” has turned into a justification for the Israeli narrative of being a pariah state, by labeling any white person who merely voices criticism of Israeli policy as an antisemite. This is white racism – whites discriminating against other whites. In particular, the so-called “Antideutschen” practice white racism with their invented code-hunting against their own people, just to maintain their idiotic narrative of being the “good guys,” while today’s sense of security for Jews means supporting the “dirty work” against Iran. Because if Jews don’t “feel” safe, they are permitted to destroy the other side.

The antisemites are solely to blame – and if you happen to be white or, worse still, German, then you’re to blame for everything, namely for supporting evil.

So much. Damn. Needs paper. I'm reading this on a bloody iPhone. (And composing). But a comment: how do we culturally construct a effective means to corrupt narrative? As America replaced manufacturing skills with marketing skills a lot of effort has seemed to me to be focused on constraining choice and compelling choice rather than proliferating an abundance of competing choices. Like a huckster salesman: you want this or you want that? Confining a choice to 2 where the reality is a proliferation. How do we return to youthful development and the shared cultural development the profusion natural to it? Every young person in America that isn't of a wealthy family feels to some degree cornered. I just appreciate that there are folks like you and Z and JB and others showing always creative thought brings new options. Now just package that sht and sell it.

My takeaway: Focus on material control. Avoid playing into a paranoid-perverse script.

“But this is not the only kind of love, and it is not the kind Freud refers to in his mass psychology essay, where he also calls it ‘hypnotic.’ I am tempted to call this other form of love ‘perverse,’ because it is based on a perverse kind of seduction. The Other here seduces or fascinates the subject not through desire or lack, but through plenitude. There is no exchange taking place (such as the exchange of my lack for the lack in the Other), and in this sense, the bond thus created is indeed hypnotic: it remains external and one-sided. What distinguishes this relation from classical respect for social authority is that the latter is predicated on authority being emptied of enjoyment, whereas the former operates in the name of enjoyment. This is also the reason why perverse authority—unlike classical authority—is not vulnerable to the exposure of enjoyment. On the contrary, such exposure only reinforces it.”

“The presupposition of knowledge here is not an empty token of trust. Love for the leader begins with some—possibly lost—experience of enjoyment that he evokes or stirs up in us, and which then becomes associated with knowledge: knowledge about enjoyment. To take Trump again as an example: the presupposition of knowledge in his case is not about political insight or wisdom in governance. It is simply this: he is rich, he knows how to get rich—and ‘rich’ here evokes enjoyment. He knows how to enjoy, and he can take care of our enjoyment. At the same time, the exposure of enjoyment (‘I can do and say whatever I want’) functions as a source of fascination—fascination in the strict sense, where one is unable to look away, drawn in and repulsed at once. Enjoyment is the lure.”

These two passages particularly bring to mind the technological phenomenon of AI Large Language Models (LLMs). The phrase, *"the exposure of enjoyment ('I can do and say whatever I want') functions as a source of fascination—fascination in the strict sense, where one is unable to look away, drawn in and repulsed at once,"* resonates deeply here. I'm hardly sure how psychologically informed the creators of such LLMs are regarding this dynamic, but I would surmise they have more than an inkling.

However, this psychological dynamic already presupposes a society—or at least a significant cohort of individuals—à la the Hikikomori of Japan—who are, in some fairly legible sense, already self-consciously emasculated to begin with. For them, virtual sadism (at least), principally against women, is all but a literal hypnotic and otherwise narcotic. This pre-existing, doubtless quite complex dynamic, when combined with the potential virtual *jouissance* afforded by LLMs ("I can do and say whatever I want"), even *sub rosa* (i.e., not necessarily pornographic but euphemistic), seems to be a primer for fostering and fomenting OCD-like symptoms of a very particular type.

Specifically, this could manifest as a reflexive, virtual, spontaneous, narcotic thirst for instances or perceptions of women being subject to sadism run amok. This could even extend beyond the sub Rosa (i.e. insinuative) chambers of LLM-instigated or awakened perversity itself, so that it begins to color all manner of images of women online, especially young and normatively attractive ones. Ultimately, it could spill out—if only somatically, creepily—onto the literal street itself, while fortuitously or otherwise mimicking in microcosm the more indiscriminate sadism writ large of the Trump *esprit du siècle* and innumerable examples of young IDF soldiers' textbook displays of lethal sadistic enjoyment in Gaza and beyond in recent months.

In this regard, however absurdly it may seem on its face, it's as though quasi-novel LLM forms of AI threaten to both libidinize and narcotize human-computer interaction to the nth degree. This is especially true for a sizable cohort of the already cellphone- and social-media-addicted First World population—particularly and overwhelmingly the *a priori* already symptomatically, self-consciously and unconsciously resentfully emasculated male segments of said population.

I am 77 and Asperger’s Syndrome. I am inclined to trust Mark Twain in his observation that man is the lowest form in devolution. Even lemmings don’t commit suicide their stampedes are a logical biological response.

The Bible said be fruitful and multiply but failed to mention too many lemmings make life short and brutal.
